You know the Vega wasn't such a great idea either but GM made and sold them. They did until the the buying public had enough, plus the recalls and lawsuits. From Wiki on the Vega: Joe Sherman's 1993 book In the Rings of Saturn said that "by its third recall, ninety-five percent of all Vegas manufactured before May 1972 had critical safety flaws", and that the model's "checkered history only reinforced the belief that GM made inferior small cars. This legacy would prove far more important than any direct impact the Vega would have on GM's profits."

Telsa can keep making this turd and the same will happen sooner or later.

They’re all over the place here in Az. My wife and I commented how ugly they are. This particular one was painted turquoise. Didn’t help the appearance. So far I have seen pink, yellow, black and white painted cybertrucks. As far as the the bed functionality I saw one hauling a dirt bike blowing by me on the freeway.

If you go to YouTube, Google, "daily show louis black cybertruck", you'll see a five-minute review of the company and the truck. :giggle: The highlights:

- Accelerator pedal recall

- Safety mechanisms not working (start at 4:00 mark in the video referenced above)

- Vehicles stopping, faulting out for no reason

- Exterior care reads like a huge PITA

Curious how any Cybertrucks will fair once they encounter even a common Winter anywhere in the US. If they don't begin rusting, I suspect even the slightest physical flaw on the surface will show huge.

You can rent one for $295 per day in OKC. I kind of like them. Have no use for it snd wouldn’t buy one but I may rent one just to scratch the itch.

First time I saw one, first thing that came to my mind was how shockingly hideous it was. I actually felt bad for the driver. :cwl:

looks like a rolling doorstop lol

I think its just to generate hype, so people look at it and then the Model 3 or Y look reasonable in comparison. I can't imagine they actually believe they're going to sell a significant amount of those things

also after all that hype about selling a stainless steel car they've begun offering it with paint lol

Finally saw one on the road last night. Tried to snap a pic but he got his turn arrow before I could grab my phone. Had rust drips down the side of the truck. And my goodness is it UGLY. I don’t understand the fascination with it other than the Tesla fanboys/girls will worship anything produced by Musk or someone has to have the newest thing. If anyone here has one I’m sorry but it’s the ugliest vehicle I’ve ever seen.
We seen a couple, BUTT ASS UGLY!!!

Tesla 👦/ 👧 get no love around here. They're not welcomed at meets, car shows / race track (due to insurance regs for the track). Nobody cares how fast they are. Nobody likes the looks.

Red headed stepchild of the automotive world.
