Current lead time on a special order.

Ordered my PP2 GT 7/20 and just got word it’s planned to be built the week of 10/5. That’s not good

I ordered a 2020 gt premium convert velocity blue b-accent a-10 B+O sound just told me last night build date 10/5 wtf

what is the credit for

It is a delivery credit that ford is giving to mustang. That is coming straight from ford and gets reduced from the msrp directly. Anything you negotiate with the dealer goes on top of that. So technically you could get 10k off of a mustang when the credit is on. Thats freaking nuts, it made me take the plunge lol.

This is making me think that my dealer was correct in the timing of my order being built. This does make me wonder if I should still go ahead with the 2020 since I wont be able to take delivery till December 2020. It may make more sense to order a 2021 at that point, assuming there are similar credits involved (it may be a 1-2k higher that a 2020 mustang still). Anyone else feel that way?

where this in Canada not here is us I only got 2grand off msrp thats it 54050 I paid 52000

do u have where it shows this credit u got from ford this is first I've heard of it, I went to many dealers and no one mentioned anything like this

I just checked the ford usa website and it doesnt list any delivery credits. I guess only fordcanada has those at present. Check ford.ca and you will see them for any mustang build. The vehicles themselves have gross margins and thats what rhe dealer is giving off for you. Maybe the incentives are better when you're tsking delivery of your vehicle and at that time you would be able to pick those for yourself and save monies

I’m kind of curious how you’re getting build dates in October when the actual build date isn’t determined until 7-10 days in advance. There’s no way they would know an actual date.

ford email sent to my dealer and to me via ford says it says ur vehicle is scheduled to be built for production the week of oct.5 2020

Read every thread about custom orders on here. I ordered on 6/26. The dealer has no idea when the build will happen. I got the VIN 7/14, which is when you actually know the blend date, and it was built 7/22. Delivery 7/30.

the dealer didn't send me the email it came from ford motor corp not my dealer but they got it and I got it sent to m y email

no im in Massachusetts and I know don't know why its so long.. but what can u do just have to wait and hope for the best....
