I placed my order end of Sept., was told they are backed up and it's normally 8-12 weeks but would be more like 3-4 months for a 401A GT fastback (no magnaride). I received my VIN last week and am being told it will be built 2nd week of December and I could have it before the end of the year.

I would think your looking at about 12 to 16 weeks. Not sure of what options you ordered but my order went in on 7/21 and i came out of production today. It'll prob now take another 2 weeks to arrive at the dealer.

It depends on dealer order code and parts holdups. I ordered mine three days ago and expect it around Christmas. However, if a part is in short supply, the delay will be however long it takes to get caught up. Dealer codes run from 10-19 as to priority. I have an 11, but an 18 could add weeks to a build.

I got my order number and dealer code. Entered it into COTUS but havn't seen anything yet. Nor have I heard back from the dealership. My GF woke me up in the middle of night saying I was making vrooom vroom sounds and shifting gears in my sleep.

I ordered a '19 GT Convertible 8/23/18. It's a 401A / Magneride car. I expected a VIN in NOV, with a DEC build and JAN delivery. I received my car yesterday! 61 days total from order to pick up. I am still amazed.

Congrats on receiving your order so quickly. I ordered a 2019 GT Premium convertible on 7/20/18, it was built on 10/3/18, and was supposed to have been delivered on 10/25/18. As of today, no one seems to know where my order is, and the dealer is suggesting there may be a "parts hold" before shipment but they have no specific info or confirmation. Ford customer service is useless as they open a case and refer you back to your local dealer for status. The new vehicle tracker just keeps adding one day at a time to the estimated delivery date. I hope to hear something positive soon, but am rapidly losing confidence in Ford.

November 1st. Dealer emailed today with my VIN number. Order was placed on 10/17 so, right at two weeks. Order tracking shows “in order processing”. Also says I will get a production date as soon as the factory schedules the build. Things seem to be moving along nicely. Oh BTW, my priority code on the order is 19. Config is GT Coupe, PP1 and Magneride. My understanding is that VIN are assigned during order allocation which happens in Fords computers each Wednesday night. Plant sets the build schedule on Thursday nights, so not sure if that will happen tonight or if it takes a week or two. We will see.

My build has Magneride and received my VIN yesterday. Right at two weeks after I placed the order. If they were short on Magneride, why would I have received a VIN? Anyone else with Magneride received a VIN lately?

UK order with Magneride and I got my VIN last week after ordering September with predicted build date of 30/11/18. Obviously RHD cars are built in separate batches but still have the same Magneride

My dealership must have a lower priority code or I pissed them with my haggling lol. They placed my order 10/16 which was on my birthday. Hoping thats a good omen and not a curse lol.

It's a dealer stock order with highest priority...not sure a VIN has even been assigned yet...will ask.
