Not always an option:REVERSE INTO SPOTS EVERYWHERE!
I've run into curbs with the front splitter on my 2011... um, hundreds of times. Luckily, it's held up fine so far -- probably a lot of underside scratches but you can't see those anyway.
My bigger problem is that, based on all of the new photos, the front end of the mustang is perfectly straight. On my 2011, the front part is angled out, so that the front license plate is the first thing to bump into anything (and I've bumped into more things than I can count, parallel parking... I've had to through six license plate frames in three and a half years because of cracking from hitting cars in front of me parallel parking). It's got me slightly nervous that my hood on my 2015 might get scratched up instead of my license plate frame...
