The blades on the 2015, purchased in Nov 2014, are working fine. Driven all year, snow, rain and assorted other crap hitting the windshield from passing semi's. I clean the blades each time I wash the car. Pull the blades up, dry them and treat with a dressing, used on the interior rubber gaskets. Leave them up to dry for an hour or so. This keeps them soft and pliable.

Also, if you're finding that your wipers streak or skip and they otherwise look OK, you can try clay-ing the windshield. That's worked for me in the past. You'd be surprised how much grit gets bonded to the glass over time.

I always get my class coated with Carbon Collective glass sealant. Don't need to use wipers most of the time. Beads like crazy.

I believe all producers of wipers now make these to last like 6 months now. They are using inferior rubber now and charging you more per blade. Like the big three did in the late 80's through early 90's.

I am hoping Silblade makes wipers for our mustangs. I've had the same set on my Jeep for like 7 years and they still work great. They have I believe a 5 year warranty, which mine definately have outlasted. Expensive, but when the time comes that's the brand I'll be installing.

I typically use rain-x wipers, pick them up from walmart pretty cheap and they last around a year.

Just put Rain-X on my car a few months ago. Not impressed. The driver's side started failing in less than a month. I'll probably try Bosch next and then Silblade.

As someone that works for an automotive manufacturer, I find it extremely funny when people talk about OE parts not lasting long and buying an aftermarket replacement expecting better. 95% of what you buy in the aftermarket is made by the same manufacturer for the OEM's. The only difference between your OEM and your aftermarket part is quality control and tolerances. I can tell you most suppliers have narrowed down to the point that there are only about 3 main companies out there that offer parts in every category.

My car Is a year and five months old, I haven't even gotten around to swapping out the air filters.. But It rained the other day and the window wipers worked just fine, I park the car outside 24/7 and It's nearly 90 every day and they're still In good condition, however I do wipe them down with UV resistant products every other wash.

Never had an issue with skipping or noise. I use the Bosch Icon blades...

When the wiper blades are making squeegee noises, that's a sign that you need to turn the delay interval up ;) (in other words, not enough water on the windshield!).
Going to chime in with another personal experience. I bought Bosch for my last car. They were the noisiest blades I've ever owned. It could be pouring down rain and they would still be noisy (not the "not enough water" problem).
