  1. Got cut off...

I have a Blackvue 2 channel dash cam. Basically their models are very similar. The differences are if you want a rear camera, GPS (which not only gives you speed but also location that is mapped out on google maps), better picture quality, better night time views, and if you want to be able to...
  2. Slight vibration at 75 mph

So when I had the spacers on, I was getting some pretty aggressive sway left to right in the rear. Felt like it was so imbalanced that it would just kick out to one side at any moment. Once I took them off and put the new wheels and tires on, and got on it, it felt like my car was riding on rails.
  3. Got cut off...

This is exactly why I have a dashcam.
  4. 2020 GT500 will have two 3D-printed brake parts

Probably going to be some insignificant clip for the brake line or something like that. They just want attention. That is why they didn't say which parts it would be.
  5. Slight vibration at 75 mph

I had hub-centric spacers and the problem is they typically are not balanced perfectly, and can be even worse depending on the correlation with the wheels. If you are really wanting to keep using them, you can try and find a shop that will balance the wheels and spacers together...but you have...
  6. Slight vibration at 75 mph

Do you have wheel spacers? I had some with my old wheel set up and had a scary wobble above 100...I mean above 65 :)
  7. DO I Really Need a CAI?

I understand, but my point was a non-tune CAI doesn't really make any gains where as a CAI with a tune made a big difference.
  8. DO I Really Need a CAI?

I wasted my money getting a non-tune CAI. Doing it all over again I would only have bought a tune required CAI, that is what I have now and it made a difference. If you dont want to tune the car I would just get a better drop in filter like the K&N.
  9. Zinc plating OEM rotors

I replaced my rotors with aftermarket ones that had...HAD a zinc coating. I used Patterson Car Care wheel cleaner and it stripped that coating off, and now the inside portion of the rotors have some surface rust...RIP. :headbang:
  10. 2018 GT malfunction of the day - Brembo brakes

I hated the stock PP brakes. I had this issue from time to time and the brake dust was insane. I swapped over to PowerStop drilled/slotted rotors and extreme pads. Far less brake dust and noise, braking feels the same.
  11. Rear Spring Squeak Noise

On my lunch break I ran out and grabbed a can of silicon spray, hit the vertical link bolts and 99% of the squeak is gone. I'm sure if I take them off and spray them down properly it will all be taken care of. Appreciate the help!
  12. Rear Spring Squeak Noise

Thanks everybody. I will check the vertical links when I get home today. I have SR performance ones which use delrin bushings. My springs have been on the car for about 2 years and are seated properly so I did find it odd that the noise just started up on that, but makes sense if its the...
  13. Rear Spring Squeak Noise

Lately I have had a new noise develop from my rear springs any time I hit bumps. I listed what I have installed on the rear end below. Yesterday I took off the rear wheels and sprayed some white lithium on the spring isolators. When I did this I also noticed there was a new tiny gap between the...
  14. Cracked Intake Manifolds

I haven't seen any codes thrown. Which is also what has made me think it was in my head or just having my clutch foot not be as smooth as I thought it was...but I have had it happen during gentle accel or slow cruising... I'm worried that they will see my car is tuned and just blame that...
  15. Cracked Intake Manifolds

Hey guys, do you know where on the IM it cracked? Is it on the inside/bottom of the IM or can you see it when you take the engine cover off? I have had a little bucking and stuff down low and thought it was just in my head but after seeing this I'm curious if I am having the same issue...but...
  16. JLT Oil Separator on a used Mustang?

I have a JLT 3.0 can on my car. I daily drive my car and rarely get on it. I just changed my oil this morning and the can was about 2/3 full of oil. I changed my oil early this time too, around 7,000 miles (due to other factors). I dont care what the haters say, I am glad knowing all that oil...
  17. Stock, open or closed air induction?

Steeda Wont Tune Corsa I had a Corsa CAI and I loved it running with the stock tune. def colder air temps than the open filter Steeda CAI I am running now. The only reason I switched was because Steeda would not tune the Corsa CAI. If I could do it all over again I would run a JLT or PMAS...
  18. Longtube question

I have a corsa extreme cat-back. Corsa uses a reducer on the front of the x-pipe that I plan on taking off when I throw on some LTs soon. I dont really care too much about the connection pipe, any shop that can throw on some LTs should have a few inches of 3" pipe they can weld onto the front of...
  19. Oil separator

I dont care what other people say. I bought a JLT can on sale for around $100 I think (it was a while back). It catches quite a bit of oil, which is not supposed to be in your intake. For that small investment, its kind of one of those why-not things to throw on the car in about 30 seconds. It...
  20. Stock vs. Blowfish bracket vs. Steeda Tri-Ax vs. MGW vs. MGW + BG Syncroshift II

I did a few things over time, and looking back I wish I had just dropped the money on a Barton/MGW/or Steeda Race shifter. I did the Steeda trans mount bushing, shifter bushing, and street shifter. Then I swapped the trans fluid to BG. Overall I am happy and it is much better than stock but...
