I can honestly say after owning my car for a year now...I have never used my wipers. Not even sure if the windshield washers even work

I think 6 months to a year is a good life for wind shield wipers. Some have lasted years, and some only last 3 months. I've been told that they need to be changed out every 3 months from the manufacturers... but who does that?

A few good passes with vinegar will restore the blades. Use something like a microfiber cloth and keep wiping with vinegar until you see the pitting disappear.

FWIW, the Motorcraft wipers are likely made by Valeo, anyways. Valeo is a huge parts supplier to the auto industry.
My factory one scratched my windshield before I took delivery:frusty:

My factory blades on my 2015 never did work well to completely clear the windshield. I have had other Mustangs that went years with the original set and were fine. The replacements did not last as long. Now it looks like it is reversed. I will be changing the originals sooner than I had expected.

Mine have been the same way. Terrible since day one.

I've had my car for a little over a year, and 2/3 of that time it was parked in the garage while I was out of town, and my wipers are about worthless. They aren't squeaking or skipping yet, but they just don't clean the windshield very well. I've always got 2-3 years out of wipers in the past.

My wiper blades seem to be as functional as the day my GTPP arrived. But I am slightly concern by their appearance. My mustang is in the garage mostly and the wipers have a deteriorated look to them. I guess parking the gt at work in the sun all day and being a black car has applied a bit of natures heat to the blades.

I've had mine for 5 months. Always garage kept, but it is my daily driver. I have no complaints with the wipers.
