Maybe I’m being pedantic but an emergency approval is still an approval.
Yes, it varies from the norm, but to state that it isn’t approved is kind of misleading wouldn’t you agree?
A more accurate statement would be “whilst the vaccine is in fact approved, this is under the guise of an emergency approval”.
Accuracy matters.

Except when your choice kills people. Indeed, some of this never ending pandemic (and the over half million dead) is borne on the shoulders of people like you.

I care about others and my actions are not motivated completely by my self interests.

Hello; I have been wondering about the attitude of some on this thread for some time. If I were to make a wild guess it would be along the lines what do they have to gain. If they are in an older age or more at risk group, then they would already be able to take the cherished vaccine. In fact most older folks in the USA have had a chance to get the vaccine. So this chiding us for putting others at risk seems to not be a strong argument.
Younger folks are at very low risk of a fatal infection and much has been learned about dealing with the lingering effects of the disease. For example taking aspirin is recently reported to be a good strategy. The aspirin angle occured to me some time ago and I began to up my dose a bit. I did lay off before taking the vaccine shots but have been taking them since. So the young are not being put in much danger.

I have seen and do know of employees of companies getting onto websites and posting stuff to help the company line. I do not have any idea if such could be a reason so do not have any confidence in that.

Hello; such was not the approach I took with regard to some ideas I have. I did use some information from the web sources to lend credence to my thoughts. However, at least the basis for my ideas were self generated. A background in science and biology helped some.

I did use some web information including from sources such as the NIH. Those who argue against me have done the same and did pull links from the web. Ought to work for both???
