Car & Driver tested the GT at 0-60 at 4.6 sec. Motor-trend tested it at 4.4 sec. However, Motor-trend did say it was faster and a 1/4 mile of 12.8 sec. at 112.8 mph! Now they did test it on their figure 8 track and the 2015 was faster than the last Mustang Boss 302 they tested!

Let's let everyone run the numbers and more track time and we should see it true character rise to the surface :)

^ Are those car and driver performance numbers are from their actual test results, or are they estimated? I didn't think C&D did any perf. testing yet

I say ditch the driver and get better ones.... Not everyone is going to get the same numbers because they have different drivers.... I am sure they are experienced BUT, are they experienced in the NEW Mustang??? I say NOT!!

same results from their og article
Not sure what you mean by og article, but if you are talking about this one:

http://www.caranddriver.com/ford/mustang

Then the 0-60, 1-100, and 1/4 mile et are C/D estimated numbers.

However this article does not list all the the other perf. numbers OP posted, so am wondering where they came from.

Edit: never mind, found it.

I don't think they are worried at all, the ecoboost will sell very well outside of North America. The retail price gap between the EB and GT will be much larger due to Emission taxes there. Also, much higher fuel prices (north of $8 a gallon) will make MPG a much bigger issue.

LOL Where do you "see" that? Overall I wouldn't be surprised if EB outsells the GT.
Before you jump on that, "overall" does not mean out of the gate. Mustang enthusiasts will jump on the GT if they can. I'm talking about over the global run of the 6G.

I see what happened. The thread you started hasn't had any activity since 9/22 (other than by you) so you thought you should post some BS to get it going again.

Bad me for falling for that.

Best ever? What yard stick? Units sold? No! Bang for the buck? No! Styling? No! Comfort? Should be! Handling? Should be! Safety? Should be! Favorite? I sure hope so!

Thanks for great question to ponder,
