Bumping your own old thread seem funny to me, so quoting my post also too funny to resist.

It's a yard stick thing, so your right.

Quote: Melanie Banker, Mustang marketing manager put it simply: "The EcoBoost engine is a whole new proposition that we don't have today," and well, people just aren’t accustomed to it. She did say, though, that through clever use of ads, they can steer buyers’ opinions in the right direction - "People look forward to Mustang advertising. It's usually pretty fun. We're selling dreams."

You said "I see now where Ford is worried they will not sell many of the 4 cyl. Ecoboost Turbo".
Then you provided a couple links that have no evidence of anything and are essentially one quote total. Training dealerships to sell something new is nothing new. I assume you would agree that the members of this group would be a bigger group of mustang enthusiasts than the general public. Take a look at the EB sales numbers here. Also consider that EB may have better sales globally in a market where they are accustomed to smaller, high output turbo engines due to very high gas prices and taxes on size of engine.

Either come up with evidence or you're just trying to create something where there is nothing (as evidenced by your initial comment without link).

Seriously.................you guys need to find another thread to harass!

The title of dudes article was "Ford Freaking Out About the EcoBoost"

Did you even read the article I provided?? Where it said "Ford hasn’t even begun selling the new Mustang and they think they already have a problem with it. No, it’s not a recall or anything actually wrong with the car, but Ford believes that dealers are going to have a real problem selling the four-cylinder turbo EcoBoost Mustang; so much so that they have begun to send out trainers to show the salespeople how to sell this car".

This is not my 1st time around the block.......IF you had taken time to look at ANY of my blog articles about the Ford Mustang, you would know just how passionate I am about the Mustang, but no, all you want to do is stir the pot!

ok......not trying to be a butt, but you were trying to throw me under the bus for something I did not do! If the post where I stated "I saw where Ford is worried".........was totally false, then you would be correct, but I was just passing on what I saw/heard that was relevant to the original blog i posted.................so tell me how that was wrong?

I expect that the '15 will be the best all-around Mustang yet. I can't wait to test drive one.

For a non SE model, I think the GT PP will be the best performing Mustang ever. Not to mention, the best overall Mustang to roll down the assembly line.

I am beyond ecstatic about this new model. Cannot wait to get my car!!
