If the neighbors weren't awake, they were after that first start of the morning. LOL:D
Haha I've heard so many mixed reviews of the cold start. will this actually wake my neighbors up? I'm in Houston, so its pretty warm here.
I have heard amazing things about this exhaust, sounds like what I'm looking for, however I really don't want to piss the neighbors off TOO much. A little is fine, but wakin gthem up at 6 AM every morning would create quite the argument.

Also is it pretty deep in person? The guys with Borla S type give it a lot of crap for not being so deep, however I like the sound, it sounds more refined.

Any advice is welcomed,

Brice

I'd hate those neighborhoods I can honestly say, I have never bought an exhaust with thought of how it would sound at cold start

Lol, I'm not basing my decision on the cold start. I just noticed that after reading all 1 million reviews, A LOT of people mention the cold start on the corsa. Just seeing if it's an exaggeration or not. Worst case it goes away in a minute or two:)

It's not that bad. It's a little louder the first 30 seconds or so then it starts to mellow down. I'm out around 6:30am every day. I live in a QUIET neighborhood and have had no complaints from the neighbors.

Have you pulled the trigger yet?

Thats what I'm looking for. My neighborhood is a bit older but I'm moving downtown in about 2 months. Just making sure I'm not going to give anyone a heart attack.
I just hope it's not as annoying to row the gears as it was in a flowmaster outlaw drone exhaust.

I am thinking of pulling the trigger this afternoon. now the chrome vs black chrome debate. might get Chrome, as I've already got the black PP wheels, I'd like some shiny tips.

I wish I could get this exhaust. There's two things stopping me. My budget, and the city where I live has noise restrictions.

I went with the black tips. Wanted to stick with the black theme, so dipped the badges in black also.

Yea I would like the black I think, it's only $80 more. Lot of money though, so I'm hoping it'll be worth it.

we have both in stock, we also have both axle backs in stock as well for the corsa, that would tame it down just a tad with keeping the resonator

Worth it.

I was going to do the MBRP exhaust at first. Sounds good and it was priced right, but said what the hell, and bit the bullet on the Corsa. Didn't want to be kicking my own ass for not forking out the extra money for the Corsa.

And in no way am I dogging on the MBRP, like I said, I was going to go that route. Just wanted the Corsa more.

Grab the Corsa Sport instead. It's the same as the Xtreme minus the x-pipes in the middle, so just an axle-back. Cheaper and quieter with the same awesome sound!

If I was to add the x pipe later I wonder how much louder it would get.

I got a corsa extreme too and love it. I got mine through Summit Racing and because i have a NHRA competition license. I get a little bit of a discount through them.
