Ahhhh Yessssssssssss... Got mine installed last night about 9:30 pm and All I can say is... Well...SMH... Damnnnnnn This Exhaust Sounds amazing! As others have said there is not a video or sound clip out there that will truly show you how Bad Ass this exhaust sounds.

First let me say that I really appreciate Jay, Josh and Shawn for not steering me wrong just to sell something. The 650 dollar mistake (Gibson) could have been avoided if I would have just waited. I'm sure some younger guy will love the sound of it and think its the best. I am just too old for that.

Just what you guys promised... Highway and just cruising around town you can barely hear it. Just a nice low tone to tell it's there. When you want someone to hear you or just drive the hell out of it, it sounds like it's all Business!

About the Drone... I tried lugging it in 6th gear, then going up a small hill and couldn't get it to drone. The Gibson drone would be so bad it would make you nauseous.

Now I know why this catback is more expensive than the others and it's worth every single penny! The Quality of the product is really spectacular! Fit and Finnish is unreal! Even the packing is awesome so it gets to you like the day it was finished. Details Details Details!!! Corsa pays attention to the Details! Not just thrown together to get them out the door to take your money. Not sure I could ever put another brand of exhaust on my car from here on out.

:clap2::clap2: Well done Corsa... Well freaking done! :clap2::clap2:

Well said KP! Glad I could help. I say that same statement all the time. There is no other brand of exhaust that will make it on my cars if Corsa makes an exhaust setup. Corsa = Quality. Great company and I'm proud to have gotten the opportunity to work with them. Looking forward to what the future brings as well.

Installed mine yesterday. Can't say enough about the quality of the system so far. Excellent welds and the fit and finish is superb! As far as sound? Well, it is vastly different than the x-pipe Flow 40 combo I had on my Cobra, but in a good way. Surprisingly, and sadly, I haven't driven much since the install, but the little bit I have I love them. Present but reasonable when you want/need to be and scream like a banshee with a little love of the go peddle :D I basically would state what others have noted as being absolutely correct.

Here's my little video of the comparison to stock with a sound level meter:

These measurements were taken about 6 ft behind the car.

Thanks for the awesome feedback! We do take pride knowing we offer some of the best quality products out there. Corsa definitely fits the bill!

Feel free to PM me once you have had a chance for clamp, clamping surface are inspection. Just so the thread doesn't run too techy. We will have our own section soon as well where I can verbal dump tons of FAQs for you and others :)

In my experience the break in effect happens on exhaust kits where dissipation (long strand fiberglass packing) is used. In the case of the new Mustang kits, we do not use any dissipation, as it uses only RSC gen 3 mufflers, which utilize a targeted acoustic element to focus the sound reduction within a frequency range. (see why I said techy, I can go all day lol, we are sound nerds)

Stainless can expand 1 inch and retract 3/4 of an inch. This is why checking clamps and clamping surface (making sure expanded slot is fully engaged) is paramount. Heat cycling can move things in the beginning :headbang: aka stainless break in with badass driving and long highway runs. After this first re torque and movement you should be set! :amen:
Very common with a modular system, and this does sound like symptoms of a leak or loose clamp.
Feeling much better after yesterday, guys.

First off, Shawn, LOVE the shirt! Will be repping the brand when I can lol.

Second, a lot of the clamps had some tightening left in them. I realized a couple of things. One, those 3"-2.5" connector inserts weren't entirely even. Still aren't, and I wasn't willing to remove the whole system to wiggle them out; they wouldn't budge between the midpipe and lead pipes even with the clamps fully undone. Not enough for me to care. Tightened the hell out of them and worked my way to the rear.

I realized that those tips are supposed to be canted inward to line up with the rear valance. The Corsa logo should be directly topside, right? I pulled the tips out and rotated them and it looks a lot better.

Best of all, that clear noise is back. Immediately noticed the improvement and felt a huge wave of relief after it was all done. I'm in love again. :)

I gotta say, the more clips I hear the better this system sounds. I think Nanashii's vid was the first one I saw where it really sounded like the tone has got some serious depth to it.

His car sounded epic when we met up a few weeks ago. Tried to get a good capture with my shotgun mic but derped a little too hard and forgot the on/off switch. Will try again soon.

Awesome, thanks. Hopefully I'll eventually hear it in person if you guys set up your weekly meets by the time i'm down in NoVA next.

I usually make it down about once a month. I was actually considering this weekend but i'm pretty slammed with work. I'll keep an eye on the NoVA thread for upcoming meets.

I'm pretty useless for organizing meets with anything more than 1-2 other people.

So OPP was this the verified direction the logo was intended to be installed at? Just curious if so I will adjust mine. Makes sense though... I looked at them 20 times before I installed them wondering if there was a left and right tip. lol

Also @Shawn... where is my shirt? :D
