I first had the pleasure of hearing the Xtremes on Josh Bakers 15 with SW headers, no cats and of course Xtremes. I was then told before cold start to plug my ears lol. They sound amazing but as the name says they are very loud especially paired with catless LTs.

Im running the SW headers with no cats and the sport catback. As Jay said, you can carry on a conversation effortlessly inside the car and it wont get loud till you stand on it. I really enjoy the sounds because its a deeper sound compared to the Xtremes. If you plan on doing LTs I would stick to sports, if not and you want to have the loudest baddest sounding setup without getting rid of the cats on the car, then the Xtremes will be your money maker. Either way theyre badass sounding exhausts and you cannot go wrong with either! hope this helps!

I have the xtremes, they're loud but sound awesome. My apartment has a big parking garage, I feel bad sometimes on cold starts at 7am when I leave for work, bc it is pretty loud. The tone is awesome though, i get less MPGs since i got it (bc my foot is in it all the time!) Lol

I got the Corsa sport catback and it sounds lovely. IMHO its a very controllable exhaust volume wise and its not too loud. After 3k is when it wakes up more. I listened to Khyber's videos and he told me to listen to the echo of his exhaust bounce off the trees. That gives you an idea of the volume of the exhaust of the extreme. I recorded my exhaust on my galaxy note 5. Absolutely no drone!

I wouldnt hesitate on getting xtreme. There is no drone whatsoever, meaning that when your not pressing the gas down there is no added "fake" noise. All you get is clean engine exhaust sound, but this also means that the exhaust is only loud when your on the throttle. When your cruising and maintaining speed its fairly quiet but Rev-matching and letting the revs fall down at high rpms and its loud again. Set cruise control to 65, and you can barely hear it but thats how it should be, its only loud when the motor is under load as ive described.

I have no complaints about this exhaust, it is loud when you want it but its a clean loud and thats the big difference with corsa

My only complaint about the extreme's is on cold start ups. I live in an apartment complex and park in the garage complex and it's really loud on cold start ups. I usually make sure no one else is in the garage and start the car up and slowly drive in first until i get out of the garage then park it in front of the storage unit complex and let it idle until the temps come up before i drive off. Other than that it's the perfect combination of loud on 2500-3000+ rpm's and quiet on idling at red lights etc and just cruising. I don't plan on getting headers and voiding my warranty just yet so this exhaust is perfect for what i want.

extremes do sound good but loud. even the sports are very loud. thing is with the windows up, even the extremes should be muffled quite a bit. the new cars are pretty quiet.

Here is my biased opinion...


Corsa wins at everything

1. Best sound
2. Best looking tips
3. Outstanding finish
4. Quiet or loud at your desire
5. No drone
6. No other exhaust on the market sounds like it.

I originally started out wanting stainless works and magnaflows... very deep monotone exhaust in my opinion. Then Josh released his videos of the Corsa and the waiting began. it was a good thing I waited because the xtremes are pheneomenal... If you never decide to get headers or you just plain love stupid loud, the xtreme is very comprable to header/catback. Im 25K on the mustang since Nov 26, 2014 the xtremes were on my car for about 16k. I daily drove this vehicle 100 miles to work and back with the xtreme and it was never too "obnoxious" or " loud"... even for the people with vaginas for ears.

This is where I decided... HEADERS!!! now if I did not live in the stupid state where gas is equal to mud... and people are overly sensitive about everything... especially building racecars... I could have kept my Kooks 1 7/8 catless headers hooked into the extremes. I of course, being the unlucky bastard I am, got busted and state refereed... blah blah blah and now I have a bitchin' set up with the sports and quad tips!!

If you can get away with having a Nascar setup, xtremes + headers are the absolute loudest thing youll ever hear, even over straight pipes.
If you're someone that wants the power gain and not the attention...
Sport + headers are the combo to get...

If you dont want headers ever, than the xtremes will do it perfect... i think people are staying on the safe side of things because they have plans for growth. Cold starts are definitely loud, but its 15 seconds... then you're on the road and its perfect

That's pretty funny. I've settled on the Sport myself and you can go incognito like the beginning of the video--which is exactly what I want for my neighbors' sake. Man, it does get loud when you want it! I'm assuming that when you are in traffic it's not bad either.

As already stated, the Sports are a bit quieter on startup and part throttle acceleration compared to the Extremes. I too wanted to be considerate of my neighbors so I didn't get the Extremes. And eventually I'm going with catted LTs so hopefully I won't be waking the dead lol.

Otherwise, love the system, easy to install and it looks fantastic with absolutely no drone and you don't even know it's there until you start pushing on the go pedal.

if yall don't want to bother neighbors just put it in wet mode which gimps the throttle and stay under 2k rpm you'll hardly hear it whether it's xtremes or sports

yeah but with headers it's nascar xfinity mustang. I'm all up for loud but with headers it's just too loud. If corsa xtreme's were an active system I would totally want headers. I personally just don't want the tone change to the sports just to get headers either but that's me. I just love the pissed off t-rex sound of the xtreme. Then on the flip side I'm not racing and I don't have a supercharger so why do I really need headers? If there was a road course anywhere near me it would be a different story and no not into driving straight or autox.

The extremes sound super mean, a little too open exhaust sounding for my tastes. I have Corsa on my old vette and it has a nasty sound to it at wot but its much tamer at part throttle than these extremes on the 5.0 Im hearing. I will be doing headers down the road for sure with cats so Im going to go with the sports. Or, I may go extreme and weld in some straight through resonators wherever theres room.

You live in Florida and from what I hear...they don't care about how loud or what your car is running.

I have Corsa Xtreme and could not be happier. I'm adding catted headers and live in Cali. I'lll take my chances!
