In the heavy duty industry, we have coolants that go 1,000,000 miles in a truck, 100k coolant would be worthless...

I use Delo ELC in everything. Test ph and concentration 1x/ year and run it. Have not had a cooling issue in 25 years.

Being in such high temperatures I'm curious as to how the AC holds up for you. Any issues?
TL;DR good maintenance, a good quality window tint, and shade if you can find it

I haven't had any problems with it on either car-between the two over 9 years, thank goodness. However, if you park in the sun you are going to need either those windshield shades or gloves because the steering wheel will be too hot to touch. With the A/C on full max, it takes a few minutes to feel anything resembling cold, but once it gets going, it will keep up.
I noticed that the 16, which was silver, had no window tint, and base A/C, seemed to take longer to cool down and have to stay on max. The 19 I have now is Magnetic, but has window tint (most cars do here) and dual zone premium A/C. It cools on max faster and seems to keep up enough to use a normal mode after first blast without problem.
In the summer heat here, cars seem to be a bit less happy to run, but considering how high the intake temp is... Manufacturers come here, Arizona, and Death Valley to do hot weather testing, seeing manufacturer plates is not uncommon.

Very interesting, thanks!
