You would think if they were going to make a drastic change, they would have picked a new color - like maybe blue!

VERY interesting, Craig and the first question that comes to my mind before asking Mr. G is...

Which of the two, new green or old orange, is the better choice for our engines' "amount of flux?" Could us early folks with orange have the wrong product?

I doubt either of the coolants are incorrect but rather there was a manufacturing process change during the construction of some or all of the heat exchangers. The important part is to use the same coolant that came in your vehicle and not intermix them.

I am still trying to figure out how green can be yellow. If my pee turned green, I would be on my way to the doctors office to have my plumbing checked out.

It is weird. Ford is calling the new greenish color coolant yellow.
I work on Ford Powerstroke pickups and the new ones also have the “yellow”

So.... I’m learning about this Whipple 3.0 day by day as I just got it from a previous owner. Here is my coolant level for the Whipple and I’m looking for 1: is this good? 2: if too low, what am I adding to it for coolant?

very noob here, but working on changing that for long term sustainability with this beautiful car.

Use orange if your car has orange. Use green/yellow if your coolant has that color. The real question is: “what is the right level of coolant for a GT350 with a cold (3 days parked) engine?
Should I put more coolant?

this is mine now:

That's fine honestly, I'd only bother adding some if it entirely drops below the word "min".

Also, they don't sell orange anymore and yellow mixes with it just fine.
