Do you know if it's still the same setup without the optional 20"s?

I'm fairly certain all convertibles have the silver brace, but not sure about the black brace. Will need others to chime in who don't have the 20s

Premium = Tower & K Brace
Non Premium = K Brace only

There is no V6 Premium, and all EB and GT convertibles are premium ;)

Do I understand correctly that ALL convertibles (EB &GT) come with the Tower Brace? Even the Ecoboost Premium model? Could anyone who has taken delivery confirm this?

The V6 definitely doesn't have the Strut Tower Brace as iCarumba has pointed out. I am not sure on the Ecoboost. Gt Premium has it.

Nice Pictures Cape Fear

I'm a bit afraid to ask, but where is Cape Fear? Is it a friendly place?

Very nice pictures, of your Convertible. Nice colour choice, will help it stay a bit cooler in summer. Will send some pictures of my Magnetic V6 when it's delivered February 9/15

From studying Fords information, I believe all convertibles have an different style upper brace which ties the strut towers and the firewall together, there is also a lower K brace which ties the lower suspension to a cross brace. This lower brace also appears on Coupes with the 20" wheels.

Cape Fear is freindly to just about everything, excluding boats and Hurricanes.

Unfortunately, that is not mine. It is a picture from a Dealer far, far away who has one similar to what I ordered.

Anyone know of a site where you can select different colored stripes to be shown on specific colored cars. Specifically, I would LOVE to see DIB V6 convertible with silver, white and gloss black stripes. I think the best stripe color might be one that matched as close as possible with the V6's 18" 5 spoke Foundry Black rims (which are kind of dark greyish??). Not sure if this questtion is best posed here, on the DIB thread or s stripes thread. Since convertible pics are fewest, I started here. ;)
Edit: Oh, I wonder if Magnetic Metalic stripes might tie V6 wheels in? ( off to look at V6 Magnetic convertibles for insight ;)
