Anderson Composite GT 500 Spoiler + Gurney Flap

Hi,
Can the Anderson Composite GT 500 spoiler be installed without modification on a convertible (I have a 2018 convertible)?
If not, what modifications did you make?
Last question: I assume the trunk lid needs to be drilled for the attachment. Can you confirm?
