Convertibles Photos Thread

Monday I did not give the spoiler much thought. but now I'm wondering if I really like the little flat spoiler that comes on the V6 051A package.

I bet this has been discussed. What are some of the consensus thoughts on this topic? I know it's a personal choice, but just curious what reasons people either like it or don't like it. I'm hoping your ideas will help me think about it in ways that can help my decision.

Also, would changing my order 4 days after placing it, change my wait time? At what point does making a change to your order affect your wait time?

Just saw my first Convertible today, at a local dealer in Portland, it was a Race Red 051A convertible V6 with the spoiler. Really it does nothing for me, but it is not offensive either. I could take it or leave it, but probably when i order mine I will leave it off as it is clear that it serves no functional purpose. Changing your order would not change the wait time in any way at this point unless your car is magically already in assembly, highly doubtful.

On the good side, my concern about the back seat is somewhat alleviated, I am 5'11" and it would contact my head if I sit up fully straight, but just leaning forward a couple of inches with my head only, no contact. Not too bad.

Also the latch mechanism was more firm than I expected, but after a few attempts it seemed to loosen up, not sure if it was perception or it is just really tight when new.

Ruby Red was my second color choice...it is a fantastic color!

Breeze made it home, she's resting in the stable. It's dark so no use taking pictures, will take some more tomorrow. Neighbor was all in awe over it, loved the pony projection lamps, the backup camera, and the big V8 ;)

I'm a big fan of the hood and side air scoops and rear spoiler on all the New Edge Mustangs.
saw a Roush scoops etc kit for the '15 and thought it Ugly.

I think the '15 Mustang body design is so complete it doesn't need anything added to it and
it would have to be something very good to not spoil the looks of the car.

mind you, I don't like the rear lights, but that's another topic.

V6 Rims- 18" Foundry Black Alum. w/ 051A pkg

I am not sure I like the 5 spoke design of these rims, but I guess they could grow on me, or I'll just love them when O see them in real life.

Even if downgrading to the 17" silver wheels was an option, not sure I would.

I think you and I are the only ones that don't love these wheels! I plan on upgrading my wheels to aftermarket or 50th anniversary takeoffs down the road a bit, so I didn't want to pay extra for wheels I didn't like (and the other items I didn't want). I can live with the 17s in the meantime.

X rdM antenna on trunk lid

I don't want an XM antenna on my v6 051A convertible deck lid. I am hoping that the XM antenna is part of an option package, but not the 051A package. Am I going to be stuck getting this 'thing' in the middle of my trunk?

We listen to XM from our smartphones. you don't have dedicated radio account for each car.
