Control Boost

Has anyone tried this device to reduce boost in first gear and avoid spin?

Is this a good option? Are there other options?

Could always use a boost by gear EBC.

How does it know what gear you're in to only limit 1st gear and not the rest? Didn't see any mention of that in the video.

maybe the same way Flight Control does. It looks at RPM and speed.

I tried looking but I came up empty. Do you know any units that would do this?

Seems to just be time based.
