Collision Light Gone?

Stuff I read before I picked up my new 2021 convertible mentioned a red light on the dashboard that shines up into the windshield for a collision warning. Doesn't seem to be there on my car. Looking closely, I can see where it went and there's a blocking plate there now.

My digi dash flashes up with a big red box so I wonder if they omit the light due to that feature ?

I would be interested to see what that blanking plate is like though (not sure I have that on my RHD)

I've double checked my vert and it appears the same. Maybe we only get it on the digital dash?

They definitely don't omit it with the digital dash. At least they didn't on my 19

That's interesting - I would be interested to see where they project from to check mine properly.

As a reference, I am a 2020 RHD Euro GT which is similar to a PP1 and a Premium and we get the digi dash as standard

I can snap a pic whenever I'm able to get to my car and let ya see what mine looks like. I've figured out that if you accelerate at someone that is turning right (left for you), that sets it off pretty easily.

I've had mine come on a few times; once when someone ran a red light and crossed in front of me and another time when a Corvette try to accelerate away from me. I approached his rear end so fast, the collision warning went off.

The warning bar is no longer there for the 2021. I don’t miss it but what I did notice that warning you get the dashboard is much brighter than the 2020. Picture without is the 2021 I have and the picture with the warning bar is from the 2020 I had
