Just an update. I sent my oil sample to blackstone and have observed that lead levels went back down (8 ppm this time) but potentially due to my idling in the morning there is no trace level fuels in the oil and the oil flashpoint/viscosity have both gone down. I have now started to reduce the cold start wait period to only to wait for CHT to reach 70F and drive off keeping revs below 2000 rpm until CHT reaches 150F and oil reaches 100F. Let's see how the modified driving behavior helps/hurts the metals.
Good to hear things have improved, but IMO I think you're putting way to much emphasis on metal values in your oil. Yes those numbers can be useful, but they are not the end all be all that if one is slightly higher than usual it means you're doing something bad and you should be changing your driving because you're hurting the engine.

That's a good looking report, actually. Lead's back to a lower level largely consistent with prior readings, and all the other numbers are fine.

Note that the wear numbers are good while the viscosity at 100C is about the same as the Motul 0W40 you were thinking of using. You might want to give it a whirl if the weather's cold enough.

As I keep my car outdoors and temperatures in the morning is around 30F, I have started waiting for the revs to drop to 800 rpm (basically wait for the cold start routine to complete to warm up the cats). This usually takes around 2 minutes and by the time I drive off, cylinder head temps are around 125F and oil temp is 70F.

My car consumed 1 qt per 1250 miles since brand new (now at 73,500 miles). This consumption now seems to have increased to 1 qt 750 miles due to extended cold starts. Prior, the car was kept indoors and the cold start would take 15-20 seconds.

The reason for waiting is because my oil analysis reports started showing increased lead levels and I suspect bearings are wearing off and the 50W oil does not help during cold starts.
OP, just curious. Have you had any major issues with your car? I have a 2016 with far fewer miles (just under 20K), and uses zero oil between regular changes. 73,500 is the most I've heard of on a Voodoo.
