"Florida" is definitely the right state to mention. Must be something in the water down there, lots of weird stuff coming out of Florida.
It's a running joke in my group of friends. "Florida Man" is talked of like a superhero. Floridaman <insert superhero theme song>

Aren't you glad you don't live in that hell hole they call Florida?

You could consider the hell hole name because it's soooo hot in Florida(with humidity) or the way people drive.

Believe it or not, I may move to Floriduh. It's cheap, and I like the conservative politics of the state. Plus the tax bonuses.

My wife is a native Floridian ( Pensicola aka South Alabama) and she LOVES the Floridaman stuff. Weather isn't too bad, I been to way worse. Kuwait end of August at a naval base right on the gulf doing a wash rack detail. Going into the tent with AC where the thermostat read 85 degrees felt like going into a meat locker. Water or die there.

Back on topic, I hope the OP is blessed with the opportunity to see that D bag get a big ol slice of Karma pie.

I am computer literate and the card is dead. Cannot even read or format it. I have recovery software and it failed to retrieve anything. I will look around for cameras.
There's a program for Linux I use all the time to get data off messed up cards and drives called TestDisk & PhotoRec. Maybe give it a shot?

While cutting across Canada on my way to Boston a few years ago someone threw a Large soda in my Vehicle, I swerved into the guy and we crashed. He went full Psycho but thankfully there were 3 Canadian police vehicles behind us by just a couple cars. If it were back home in Michigan, we surely would have had a right to "stop the threat" but sadly Canada has no rights to protect yourself like that anymore. The Canadian officer I talked to said Road Rage and Meth are some of their largest problems on the Hwy's. They did take the guy to jail and he did have a lot of Drugs on him. I never heard anything further and only filed an insurance claim. I haven't been back through Canada since, I don't plan on it either unless I can get Brown Bear & Moose tag, lol.

Good Luck

I enjoy visiting Florida, but the traffic and the way people drive aren't for me(if I had to do it on a regular basis). I like the Siesta Keys, Pensacola, and... now that you mention it... pretty much everywhere on the Gulf coast. It's beautiful. The beaches are kept in much better shape than South Carolina beaches like Myrtle Beach, etc.

For those who don't have one: this is another good reason to get a dash cam.

Even if the camera doesn't get the plate, you can read the plate out loud to the camera and boom. You have it documented.

I had the car cleaned by a shop I have used for repairs. He had a detail guy available the next day. He did a good job on the seats and a piss poor job everywhere else.

I took it home and pulled the dash apart and cleaned it up. I could not turn the AC vents due to the dried muck in them. I took that piece off and cleaned it in my kitchen sink with lots of water and q-tips. I then set to work cleaning all the nooks and crannies of the radio, display, toggles, climate controls, shifter, cup holder, glove box, seat belts, dash where it meets the windshield, dash speaker louvers, rear view mirror, light and alarm housing in overhead, visors, instrument cluster, steering wheel and other little annoying hiding places.

When I first took it home and rinsed off the top and windscreen, tan coffee poured off of them. All seems pretty good now. Coffee smell is faint.

New dash cam installed. Monitoring of traffic continues. Most of the event took place on the freeway, so no good sight lines for cameras that I could see. Have requested 911 call and am waiting.

(partial) Refund for detail is on its way.

Wow! Yeah pretty bad when it doesn't look like some of it was cleaned at all and other spots look half assed at best. Kid that attempted that needs a different career path. I swear, some people I wouldn't let put cash in my car, let alone perform the service we pay them for.
