I live in the Dallas area and drivers here can be complete morons at times, for many reasons. I could write a book. I had someone throw a large soda at my Mustang going the opposite direction on a two lane road. It was dark, I was driving normally, and had my family in the car. (Against everything that is in me I did not give chase) I simply pulled into a car wash and cleaned it immediately. I used to engage people more but as others have mentioned, it's too risky now with the crazy people out there.

Years ago, a stupid redneck in Arkansas threw a peach at the windshield of another car I was driving. That was a bit frightening because our combined speed going the opposite direction of each other was around 110 mph.

When my family visited Denver a couple of years ago, I drove during rush hour and was astounded by how orderly and chill everyone was in bumper to bumper traffic. Maybe it's the pot dispensaries, i dunno An entire week there and not one problem.

Some A-Hole threw his Starbucks coffee in my car while driving down the road. Called the police and read them the plate number (temp plates) and then pulled over. Waited two hours for them to show up. They did not. I call again, Oops they lost my call and asked me to drive over to the station. Then they can't find the recording of my 911 call with the plates. AAAARRRRGG!

Not sure how to get this cleaned up. I wiped it down with water and cloths but it is a mess. My alarm went off in the night twice unprovoked. Not sure if my key fob is messed up or if the sensors in the advanced security package got messed up.

Can anyone recommend a DFW area place to get this cleaned?

Sorry that happened. But let’s be real. You did something to make this prick though coffeee at you. It’s funny as hell but not funny at the same time. This is why I carry a .45 under my seat with hollow points. I would have followed him with cops on line lol

VinnAY is right. And this guy just drove up and threw his coffee in your car un-provoked and for no reason? Also I was in LE for years and have never heard of "losing" a 911 call. Anyway, like you said, he had some very good fortune after committing a heinous act. Get it cleaned up, a new waterproof dash cam (lol) and get on with life. Let karma find him.

I believe all 911 calls are recorded. They have to be for legal recourse and corroboration. Doesn't sound right.

If someone thinks it's okay to throw a full coffee cup into someone else's car, where is the line of right and wrong for that person? He got away with it this time, got a thrill, so next time he ups the ante, makes sure the coffee is piping hot, decides it'd been funnier if he'd have hit the driver in the head....

They found a call, they just said they cannot find where I gave the plate number. I have asked for a copy to listen for myself.
