I see pics but no driving impressions on CJ intake manifold.

Once I'm able to push it past 20% throttle, I'll give a good first impression. I'll hit the track too, hopefully we run mid 11's. Adding this and DR's at the same time, so my ET should drop considerably.

hey guys need some help here... I am not sure which line goes where. Have seen the brake booster line on the bottom driver side port and the top. As you can see I have the brake booster line, and two other lines, not sure where ya'll are connecting them. Have seen the line from the valve cover heading under the throttle body but don't have anything under there to connect to. also don't have anything connected to the back driverside of the manifold as I have seen a few of you have. Any help is much appreciated!

edit: I'd like to add that I have the JLT intake so there is no place for the valve cover hose to hook up to like with the Ford racing

Any downsides to lowering engine like harder to change gearing or anything? In theory a lower engine should improve handling. :)

Lowered engine 1/2".
When you lowered the engine did you have clearance issues with your longtubes and the steering shaft making contact???

only downside is clearance with the stock hood. you either have to cut it, lower the engine or get a higher aftermarket hood.

The brake booster line connects on the bottom connector of the front drivers side of the cj im. The purge valve hose connects to the top of the cj im above the brake booster line. The valve cover hose has to connect to the cai tube.

I used some parts from the boss intake manifold install kit. There was a bit of fab work for my install like cutting hoses, changing hose connectors, using hoses from the stock manifold and from the boss kit, etc.

Yeah, we were forced to slightly modify the header.

It fits, you just have to get a shorter filter. Nobody seems to make a 15+ CAI kit yet.

Well, after driving it for about a week, I love it. The car never stops pulling all the way out to 8k. We're still getting the tuning straight, but we've seen impressive gains on the dyno so far. +/- 60 rwhp from the CJ and headers. I'll post the preliminary graph later. The TB still needs to be dialed in, and the cam timing needs to be optimized.

One note, I had to upgrade my injectors with this manifold. So, anyone looking to do this should grab a set just incase. A friend of mine had a set of ID 1k's he took off his 11-14, so I used those. It's overkill, but it was convenient and cheap.

Someone posted the graph for me in the CJ vs GT350 manifold thread if anyone wants to see it.
