Any tips for repining the tb? I'm stuck and don't want to rip it apart. Can't get it undone

I had a hard time as well. Ended up tearing the stock one to shreds before I figured it out. If you don't have the instructions for the CJ then go to the ford performance parts site, go to the CJ mani and they have instructions you can download. The instructions show how to do it. It's not as easy as they show. Hope this helps.

I need a heat shield for the intake anyone have one or know where I can get one?

I am currently using the jlt heat shield for the 2015's. It works perfectly with the ford racing cai. You can order just the heat shield without their intake, you just have to call them. The only issue I have with it, is it doesn't do a good job of sealing to the hood. Plus I removed the the heat barrier from the underside of the hood and there is an even bigger gap. I am going to get some abs and make a lip that raises the top of the box and get a good seal to the hood. Hope this helps as well.

Thanks guys got the tb repined. Used a tool set that you fix glasses with and stuck it in all the way I'm there. Easier said then done lol. I will call Jlt and Steeda and see who can give a better deal

This post is to give info to a fellow forum member.
The first graph I was using cardboard, so some heat shielding was still in effect. There's only a 6° drop in the 1/4 mile pass. And at one point it actually started going up again.
On the second and third graphs....I know the outside air temp got better by the time I put the good heat shield in action, but there's a 20°+ drop and it never comes back up during the 1/4 mile pass.
Not only does it drop more, but it also drops faster.

What software are you using to review logs from the Lund Ngauge?

With that said I have a Hptuners box, I wonder if I can view logs thru there dice technically The Ngauge is hptuners??

I use the one I had from my SCT Tuner, Live Link, it works with the Ngauge.
I do not know the answer to your HP question.

Sinister he's using the Steeda heat shield that is made for the s550's, just not using the cai that usually comes with it.
