What are your thoughts? I only put 300 miles on her and am considering using Steeda's replacement spring when I get back.

Thanks Y'all! From Spain!

There are already a few threads regarding this but the general consensus is DO IT. I did mine on day 3 of ownership and it made the clutch feel "proper".

Did it and liked it better than the original. You can always switch back or go without if you don't like it.

Where in Spain?

I like to disassemble things.
If you aren't sure which bathroom to use the factory spring is probably perfect. For everyone else it is way too light. There is no downside to changing it as it'll still be relatively light but a definite improvement over stock.

Do it and don't look back. The pedal is still light but it doesn't have a dead feel in the middle of travel

It's a cheap and easy mod that you can always reverse if you decide you don't like it. I think the original feel is fine; I've left mine alone and I'm used to it now.

Although I don't have my 350 yet, ( ETA 9 days ) my 15 GT/PP felt best with no spring at all.

Stock spring is so bad IMO. You can just remove the factory one and try it out with no spring to make sure you like it. Then order the steeda spring if you want to have one in there. It won't change the feel much at all from no spring, but most say it cleans up any slop from not having a spring. I didn't really notice any play in the pedal with no spring, but I did still go ahead and get the steeda spring and put it in.

Stock feels fine to me. The clutch itself letting off at the top takes a little time to get used to but that is certainly better than engaging right off the floor.

As always, YMMV

Why bother? This car has been engineered to the nth degree by the qualified Ford engineers and tested to death, and here we have buyers ready to re engineer it.

Some aftermarket parts achieve some benefit for the cost, but IMHO this is where a part is engineered (?) just for the sake of making a useless part to sell.
