I installed the spring today. Although it feels good and linear, the clutch pedal position (at rest) isn't as positive as I'd like. In the engaged (at rest) position, the clutch pedal doesn't have much force holding the pedal full out. I wonder if over time as the spring strength reduces due to multiple compressions that the clutch won't be returning to the full out (engaged) position.

Does anyone else notice this? Maybe a bad spring?

Tom mine with the Steeda spring goes fully out with no slop at the top. I still have to apply pressure starting from the pedal fully out, and I know some people run without any top spring at all, so I’m wondering if there may be something else affecting the pedal travel on your car, like some air in the line?

Tomster . . . the spring or pedal position won't change over time, the difference in feel is something you will easily get used to.

Ill have another look at it tomorrow. I'm certain that it was installed correctly. Both springs were removed from the perch and replaced with the single steeda spring. More tomorrow......

The feel is fine, however it is not positively holding the clutch pedal full out with enough pressure that seems right. The pedal is full out, but not a lot of spring force holding it there.

Does the GT350 have the same stupid clutch assist spring as the GT's? IF so, are you guys replacing with the Steeda version's?

Thanks!
I bought the Steeda spring, tried it, didn't like it - went back to the stock setup. I think the stock setup is good and I don't have any issues with clutch feel. I drive the car a lot, though and I've owned it for nearly three years now. So, it may be different if you are planning to mostly keep the car in the garage and just drive it occasionally. Either way, I would still recommend trying the Steeda clutch spring because it's cheap and super easy to replace.
