I just had the ford racing half shafts installed and every once and a while I'll get a "tick" sound when I leave from a stop. Sounds like some is taking a ballpein hammer and hitting a piece of metal... Any ideas?

I'm having a rattle underneath also but it's been isolated to the exhaust. I have an aftermarket turbo back and one area has a very small clearance. Over time and when it gets hot the slight expansion closed the gap and causes a slight rattle against the rear sway bar.
I got back from the muffler shop yesterday. For me it was the exhaust. One of the clamps came loose and the exhaust shifter and was vibrating against the rear sway bar.
It was adjusted and welded in place.

Robmustang 201528 --- Please advise what is the DS/CN ? LandShark GT is the full name of the part -- the Auto. Trans. Output Shaft Flange ? I want to tell the Dealer Service to check the correct part. Thank you --- Harry

It was the DS CN axle if anyone wants to know. It wasn't tighten down from the factory. Smh.. thought it was torsen or the driveshaft.
What is a DS CN axle?

I have the exact same noise. Its like a small clink after putting into first and releasing the clutch. I thought it was just normal.

If you have diff inserts it's 99% the cause of clinks & clunks when shifting... I had to take mine out because it was so annoying...

They are aluminum pucks that get inserted into the runner bushings to lock them into place, instead of swapping out the whole bushing. After talking to kelly "which was a great help, super friendly guy" and another guy on here that has the same sound I just decided to leave my inserts in and just ignore the Pop sound

I had the same problems with the black poly inserts. Took them out because I didn't want to live with the noises. They kept the diff under control really well though. It's too bad they add NVH.

Hi, I am having the same issue. The whole car shakes and big clunk noise when shifting thru the gears at a stand still.

Do you have any news on the matter with your car ?
