Clink noise underneath car

I just started hearing this clink noise when I take my foot off the clutch, put it in first or rev .Sounds like it coming for underneath the car. I don't know if it's my driveshaft or rear end. I don't k ow what sound they make when they go bad. Has anyone had this problem? What do u think it could be. It's not the thud when u engage it into gear I have that 2. It's a clink noise when it's in gear and the car starts to move. One solid clank. Thanks

It was the DS CN axle if anyone wants to know. It wasn't tighten down from the factory. Smh.. thought it was torsen or the driveshaft.

Mine too. Every time I put it into gear a slight metallic noise is heard. Sometime when shifting from reverse to drive too. Not sure if it the tranny or the rear axle.

the auto guys are getting their output shaft flange replaced. that is about where im hearing it on my manual when disengaging the clutch. i made appt and PM'd Deysha. hope they do something about.

I'm pretty sure the dealer would tell me to pack sand. My car has a Procharger set up. I solved the problem though. It turned out that the rattle was coming from the resenator. I finally had a chance to do the resenator delete and now there is no more rattle.

I've got this sound and I don't have a resonator. I replaced that with an H-pipe a while ago. This is my first MT car as well as my first stang so I thought this was normal.

There is also a heat shield under the left side of the car that could rattle.

update: dealer wouldnt do anyhting. Ford says it normal. wish i saw that in the brouchure as a "feature". nothing like a 40k car rattling like its a POS. thanks FORD!

I'm having a rattle underneath also but it's been isolated to the exhaust. I have an aftermarket turbo back and one area has a very small clearance. Over time and when it gets hot the slight expansion closed the gap and causes a slight rattle against the rear sway bar.

The dealer replaced the output flange on my car.Evidently, there are quite a few confirmed fixes with this repair.So far, so good no noise on mine.Also thanks to Mark and Deysha , who followed up on this fix.
