Strong burning smell underneath - Clutch?

I see the video which is with the pedals out of the car. does it work the same as with the pedals in the car?

Pretty much. I grabbed the compressed spring, pushed the clutch with my other hand and finaggled the spring out.

I smelled my clutch backing in my gt pp manual into an inclined driveway. That was at 100 miles. At 800 miles I smells it again peeling off from a stop. I've been driving manual for 9 years. The clutch engagement in this car is tricky but I'm getting used to it. It's just a matter of time until muscle memory takes over.
