Came to realize recently as I was cleaning the rear windows on the interior of how the owners with a rollbar installed go about getting to them? I am clearly thinking ahead for winter projects for the car & a Watson that I've seen here sure looks nice. Haven't seen one in person & a little skeptical about getting into the back to do windows. Would like to hear from you guys that have this setup. Thanks!

Not a Mustang, but in my E36 BMW with full cage I have two options:
1) Pull the front seats and climb back through the main hoop (which has a full X, not a single diagonal, plus the harness crossbar), or
2) Pull the panel between the trunk and the back seat area and shimmy through the trunk on my back, sitting up with my face toward the rear window.

Both are very uncomfortable, but I usually do #2 unless the seats are out for another reason.

You know, I hadn't considered this an a problem until you mentioned it. Interested to see what others say they're doing. Most prob aren't cleaning the rear window I'd guess lol...

I have the rear seat delete from Watson Racing with my rollbar. The backs are held in by plastic push pins. I drop the rears down and climb in from the trunk. Fortunately I don't need to wash my rear window too frequently. It's really not an issue though. On the R seat delete I would see more of an issue thought. Probably tough to do w/o creasing the material/fabric.

I have a solution to your problem. This cleaning tool is made by Invisible Glass. Comes with a couple of micro fiber cleaning cloths that fit the flexible head. You can find a long threaded pole that comes with any long washing brush...the threaded head of that screws into the rear of the Invisible Glass cleaning tool. :like:

Luckily the inside of the rear window really doesn't get dirty that often? Honestly, it doesn't need cleaning on a regular basis IMO.

But looking at mine, I think I could take my shoes off and crawl through and get to it with some effort. But this may be a "bribe the wife to do it" kind of thing. :)

Yea I don’t clean the back glass often but when I do it really needs it. Depends on the humidity in your area too.

I can vouch for this tool. It works very well, and I even use it on the windshield of my Mustang because it’s so slanted it’s hard to reach down to the bottom edges of it. It comes standard with the short handle, but I also put it on a long extension pole like this (it’s threaded) and use it on our living room window to reach up high. Works quite well. You could easily reach the rear windows with that extension.
