There are 10 quarts of oil in this car, if it reads anywhere on the stick, you are good to go for normal driving. Being down 1, 2 or 3 quarts will not be an issue.

^^^^ Yes, I believe our 10 qt setup is mostly due to no dry sump system. Heavy Gs in a turn could cavitate a non dry sump system with lower quantities of oil.

How do I check my oil? Both methods. I always look at it cold and then let it sit for 15 or so mins after driving. I notice a slight increase in oil quantity when warm.

I've heard it as well from a couple of my service guys that I trust. 1-2 ok, but I do agree down 3 would make me nervous.

Why would anyone let there Voodoo get 2 or 3 quarts low in the first place? Its not hard to check the oil level at least once every 500 miles just sayin.

That's a different topic, but I agree, I check mine regularly (roughly twice a week) and if it did happen then something broke.

I check mine when I remember or every 1000mi when I empty out my catch can. Too busy smiling every mile driving it to check and worry about it.
