Ummm..... Me! I won't be buying one but the constant innovation is awesome to me. I'm a car guy, I have no brand loyalty. The engine is whats fascinating to me! Here's a real manual for you Sir!

Does what again? The current Generation small block has been around since 2014 so it's been a long time coming. The only thing I see them doing again is re-using naming concept, going back to the LS structure with the LS6.

That's cool to see competition, which hopefully pushes Ford to do a bigger generational improvement to the Coyote rather than small incremental ones like they have from 1 to 4.

Yeah been watching development on it over the last year or so. 535 HP is going to be perfect in this car. Hopefully this car will work out some of the C8 electrical quirks.

I have to hand it to GM for their continued development of not only the C8 but the LS engine family.
Ford came out with the Godzilla in 2020 and its been relatively unchanged since aside from a destroked 6.8L. Designed as a truck engine, but with a lot of potential otherwise. The Coyote may see engineering changes over time, but will never get larger than 5.2L mass produced. What's next? I'd like to see some out of the box thinking on Ford's part instead of the wash, rinse, repeat of the 5.2 Predator philosophy for all their top of the line models.

The Z looks so much better in person, and the GS will have the Z body panels. So there is some hope there. I still believe the front and rear of the car was designed by two completely independent teams and melted together in the middle though haha

Those don't use the small block engine that this is talking about. This is just the next generation after the LT. Not one of the DOHC engines
