I was first to the 11's on a full weight car, on stock turbo and minor bolt ons.

You can see the thread here.

All you would need is the following. First would be an AUTOMATIC Ecoboost Mustang

1. Cobb Accessport w/ My custom E-tuning running E30 or Race Gas Concentrate

http://www.maperformance.com/2015-ford-mustang-ecoboost-accessport-by-cobb-tuning-ap3-for-003.html

2. Intercooler

http://www.maperformance.com/map-bi...-ford-mustang-ecoboost-ebm-ic-map-ebm-ic.html

3. Downpipe

http://www.maperformance.com/2015-e...ownpipe-by-maperformance-map-ebm-race-dp.html

4. Drag Radials - Team Beefcake has good deals.

5. Race Gas Concentrate (2 cans per full tank of pump gas)

Intake and exhaust can be added to make it into the 11's but a simple drop in filter, and resonator delete will do.

WE WILL ALL BE ON THE SAME PLAYING FIELD THE WEEKEND! If you're going to a race like we are why not come prepared to do battle!

because not everybody has enough money to go ahead and set up a full out drag car and there are plenty of people that would prefer not to put up with the compromise that comes with that so I was just making it clear that it wasn't necessary to go all out with a purpose built drag car built engine Bigs and skinnys etc. etc to go 11s. you can easily like me have a road course track day car and an occasional 1/4 mile car that runs 11s with making any changes to the car.

if you noticed the original question was the cheapest easiest way to go 11s, and as it stands right now going the maperformance route is that way, full disclosure that's who I use and I am biased but I would say the evidence supports my opinion. all the other tuners are great on here we are lucky, and I'm sure everyone will get faster.

I would say if you want to run 11's call MAPerformance, get a COBB w/Adam's E-Tune, FMIC and some DR's...

I'm a bit biased also as Adam has single handedly tuned my basically stock car solidly into the 11's, 11.917 to be exact!! I'm not even @ MAP 1.5 yet, only like MAP .5 as of today, I'll be ordering some new goodies now though....

No need to spend money on bigger turbos. We went into the 11s with the simple bolt-ons anyone can buy.

Mods are:

2015 Ecoboost Auto
Tuned by Lund Racing with the nGAUGE
MS109

AirAid CAI
FFTEC Intercooler
UPR Off Road Down Pipe
Magnaflow Catback
Turbosmart BOV & Wastegate
UPR Dual Valve Catch Can
295/40/17 Drag Radials on Weld RTS wheels
Viking Rear Shocks
DSS Carbon Fiber Driveshaft

We cut a 11.9 in the nasty south Florida air (124 water grain) which will choke the turbo at higher roms and speed. We are looking to cut mid 11s this upcoming weekend in BG at NMRA.

Compare it to others... we have done more in less time with nature fighting us. lol

Here is the video

Is the IC just a simple IC swap or is it a kit? Trying to keep it as cheap as possible lol

So is going with a manual completely out, or do you need to shift like Vin Diesel and hope the trans wasnt built on a Friday? I would assume also you have to worry about tye clutch and flywheel holding up as well.

To get into the 11's cheapest, def get the auto.

Normally the stock clutch can hold the power of the stock turbo, but there's a few guys out there who are beating the crap out of the clutch and burning it up while trying to get a better launch at the track. Obviously it can't hold up to extreme abuse, that's why we upgraded ours last winter.

Seems an intercooler will be my next investment. Best bang for the buck?

Mishimoto and MAP seem to be the most affordable intercoolers. Was there ever any good data collected from the guy that used the eBay intercooler?

not knocking what he did it was awesome for the investment, but if your trying to go 11's you really need to look at the atm intercooler. makes life a lot easier...

Would like to get one but I'll be pushing it to convince the wife to let me buy the mishimoto or MAP. It looks awesome though.
