Well I finally made it back to the Dyno today. As some of you know I have had some transmission issues. Now with the TR6060 in place we can get back to business. Last year I was able to make it on the dyno once. I was happy with the results at the time but the dyno curve flatlined at 6600 rpm. We ran it to 6800, 7000, 7200 and all three pulls had the flat line starting at 6600. On that day on a 93 tune the car did 601/492. Was exactly one year ago. Through this Winter there were a lot of post with discussions on the flatline..some had it some did not. I was determined to chase that bitch down.
Mods over the Winter and Fall.... Edelbrock Victor ll, MAK inlet/tube, and switch to E85. First pull today was to 6800, second and final pull was to 7150 even though the graph shows different. Motor good to 7500 so there was more left in it but I'm very happy with the results.
This is a HO P1SC-1(6 rib) setup on a 3.6" pulley with the stage 2 intercooler. Oh....and it just climbs and keeps climbing ... no more flat line.. :clap2:
