Changing Trans Fluid again, trying something new (to me).

So Motul MULTI DCT was on sale at my work, and with my discount I bought 12 1L bottles of it.
Over the winter I'm going to change out the trans fluid again (first time at 30k, now at 60k).
SO is the Motul MULTI DCT the good stuff for my MT82 ? Thanks

is Royal better than oem fluid? I'm still on oem and it's working ok for me, but I have BG Synchroshift stashed which I'm going to replace soon.

I wouldn't use Royal Purple. Motul is generally good oil.

Haven’t used Motul trans fluid before but I have used their brake fluid for track (have used both 600 and 660). Good stuff, I would assume their trans fluid is just as good.

I've ran it in other Ford Getrag transmissions. Currently running Redline in my Bullitt.

Overall, the Motul DCTF is regarded as very good fluid, better than OEM.

I would not hesitate to run it in a MT82

I put the Motol fluid in my transmission this past summer… the difference between the stock fluid was great. Wish I did it sooner. I’m curious if you’ll be able to tell a difference between it and the royal purple at all.. update us when you get to drive it.
