Good day Friends, can you please advice me:
In my 2018 2.3 mustang manual is written that trans fluid and filter has to be changed at 150000 miles,
However on some websites i see info that it should be changed every 30k miles,
I am at 32k miles atm, should i just change the fluid and filter or do a complete flush?
And also if possible can you post here a guideline or manual for this operation

Thanks for the video, one thing that confuses me is part number,
in 2018 mustang manual it is written that trans filter number is FT-188, but on the video and other website it is FT 215? which one is correct one

also curious as to why some recommend 30k miles when the manual says 150k. i was actually surprised when i read in the manual that it says 150k, as i was expecting to see recommended trans fluid change every 50-60k. I am just under 50k now and it has never been changed to my knowledge (i bought the car april 2021 with 19k on it and ive never changed it during my ownership).

best to follow the ford 150k or do it sooner? i have had zero issues with the transmission but again, i was surprised to see 150k. i also cannot see ford recommending 150k if that is too long of a time to go without a fluid/filter change.

Cause it’s out of warranty then and they don’t care?:)

I think climate and use play a part. If you're in a part of the world which has scorching hot temps in the summer and warm winter temps which means the oil is constantly running at higher temps, and if coupled with a drive it like you stole it driving style, then I think it is probably a good idea to change it more often. I wouldn't wait the 150K miles to change mine, but given my easy driving style and cooler temps here in Canada, I don't think I need to do 30K mile changes either.
