looking hard at either the double ram air, or the single stalker hood. any of you gone with either and have some pics to share? most of the pics on their website are AI and car is either green or orange. Mine is a '21 GT PP carbonized grey metallic. could use some pics to help me decide. thanks.
I have the double ram air and it looks great. Really good quality fibreglass too, it actually fit better on the car than the factory hood lol.

Looks great man, I love the "squareness" this brings to the front end. Good work. Still deciding between this one and the "stalker" hood.

I'm not a fan of the mustang front end at all in general. I honestly feel it's a design flaw by Ford. The entire front end takes a hard "dive" down that I don't like. The Hertz hood is aesthetically pleasing, but it doesn't help the "symmetry" of the car. The stalker hood, or ram air, or GT500 on the other hand add the height needed to correct this issue IMO. I love the GT500 hood, but have that little voice in the back of my head "you don't have a GT500, don't be a poser" - that and everyone does it, - - - - the struggle continues, lol...
Yes, I have that same thought, it's not a GT500 stop trying to make it look like one.

I hear ya man, although I had to go with the GT500 front bumper conversion. I had something slice mine real bad, and I hate hate the stock front bumper and any aftermarket bumper that incorporates that weird "oval shaped" upper grille. The GT500 front bumper on the other hand opens things up and looks so much better. I hate to be a semi poser and honestly would have gone with anything I could have found but there really aren't very many options, so GT500 bumper it is. The hood now is a completely different animal. I won't be going with the GT500 hood, gonna go Cervinis for that one.

I really like the Hertz hood. Very reminiscent of my 2003 Cobra factory hood.
I'm digging the hertz as well, but disclaimer says "may require adjustment of fenders for fitment". not sure i want to be jacking around with the fender position, would much prefer a "bolt on" piece.

That’s going to be with any hood, just to make sure all the gaps are aligned properly. The Hertz, Shelby GT, Super Snake hoods were all made to fit GT’s since that’s the platform Shelby American built those cars from. They just put that disclaimer in there knowing that the gaps may not be perfect on install (same goes for the factory hoods, not all of them were aligned exactly right at the factory either). The adjustments are easy to make, I wouldn’t let that deter you from something you like

adjustments made to the hood and adjustments made to the fenders are two different things my friend. I fear you are misunderstanding me. There shouldn't be any adjustments needed to the fenders when installing a new hood.

No misunderstanding, I can read just fine. Yes, sometimes you will have to adjust the fenders when installing a new hood to open or close the gaps on the sides of the hood. It’s not hard on our cars. One bolt needs to be loosened and then retightened.

As I said, those particular Shelby American hoods are made specifically for GT’s and used on their GT based cars, so any adjustments would likely be minimal

I think they just add the disclaimer to protect themselves. As mentioned, I’d be surprised if you had to adjust the fenders much. If it were me and that was the hood I wanted, I wouldn’t let that disclaimer be the reason to not get it. Good luck with what you decide, lots of good options out there

Man, hard decision. I like both the stalker and the double ram air, I also like the GT500 hood. LOL. Time will tell.
Here is the Cervini GT500 hood painted by Cervini in Oxford White. I have the Roush hood structs installed and they hold up the Cervini hood just fine, no issues at all.

Depends on if Ford got the gaps correct from the factory, my gaps were different on each side from the factory with the stock hood, when I installed the Cervini GT500 hood the gaps were the same as it was with the stock hood, so I adjusted both fenders to even up the gaps on both sides, all it takes is a 10mm socket and ratchet to loosen three bolts along the top of the inside of the fenders and you can adjust the gap, only takes a couple of minutes. My adjusting the fenders had nothing to do with Cervini, it was Ford that did not have the gaps even.

I went ahead with the Stalker hood, it looks the best I think. It is due to arrive this week, then it's paint and install. I'll share pics after I get it done. Excited!
