Hoods Interchangeable ??

So every time I walk out into the garage, I see my wife's 2017 GT/CS convertible sitting next to my 2022 MACh1. I know there is various body panel differences etc., but I just wondering if that 17 GT/CS hood will fit my 22? Anyone done this? I just think the lines are better on the 17. Thanks!

Nope.

2015-2017 hood is specific to the 15-17.

2018-2023 hood is specific to the 18-23.

It’s not only exterior panels (fenders/nose cone, lights) that were the 2018 redesign, but also the inner fenders and forward radiator core structure.

No, 15-17 and 18-23 hoods are not interchangeable. Only within the model years they are interchangeable. Panels and body lines do not align.

Also, even if they did... your wife better throw your ass out of the house if you touched her car and started disassembling it.

Because the GT350 and Gt500's use the Gen 2 S550 Nose and body style Can I put a 2020 GT500 Hood on my Gen 2 S550???
