I really like the Hertz hood. Very reminiscent of my 2003 Cobra factory hood.
I'm not a fan of the mustang front end at all in general. I honestly feel it's a design flaw by Ford. The entire front end takes a hard "dive" down that I don't like. The Hertz hood is aesthetically pleasing, but it doesn't help the "symmetry" of the car. The stalker hood, or ram air, or GT500 on the other hand add the height needed to correct this issue IMO. I love the GT500 hood, but have that little voice in the back of my head "you don't have a GT500, don't be a poser" - that and everyone does it, - - - - the struggle continues, lol...

I realize there are several reasons on the 2018+ front end changes, but consider that the "dive" down improved downforce for racing in NASCAR.

I have a Mach 1 front bumper on my GT. I was a little concerned about that same thing but all my GT badging is still there and visible so I don’t consider it posing. Now, if you were to start putting Shelby badging on your car, that’s a different story IMO. Do what you like and what you feel looks good

I hear ya. Absolutely man. I think I'm going to go with the stalker hood and the upper and lower grill. I'm thinking the GT500 front bumper replacement with the stalker hood may make it look at bit "boxed out".

The Stalker combo is a good one. I would tend to agree with you regarding the Stalker hood and GT500 bumper. To my eye, the GT500 front bumper needs the GT500 hood to look best. Just my opinion though

I am absolutely in love with my GT500 hood with the removable rain tray. Cervini quality is good, but if you're a perfectionist, none of them are "scuff/shoot/install" right out of the box. I spent many hours prepping mine before paint and quite a bit of time after that adjusting & shimming to get the best fit possible.

My only complaint is it is H-E-A-V-Y!!!
Agree, I did a Cervini Stalker hood on my 2011. The hood was well made but needs a lot of finessing. In the end I still had the fender to hood gap that could not be corrected without a lot of build up. And that was with shimming it. And yes hood was twice as heavy as the stock hood. Love the look of it.

Between the two I'd go with the single stalker. That dual Ram looks awful. As mentioned the Cobra R hood looks good.

I will second this. I bought the GT500 hood for my GT350 front end. Beautiful hood, very impressed with the quality and the rain tray for the hood vent. Biggest complaint is this the heaviest fiberglass hood I have ever owned. I haven't weighed it yet, but I swear it feels like 50lbs for sure. Defiintely heavier than the original aluminum GT350 hood and the BBS Aluminum GT500KR hood (that doesn't fit the GT350 front fenders!) Will have to see how it works with my Redline hood strut, might need to upgrade the struts to be able to lift the hood. Again very nice and quality hood, just can't understand why it is so damn heavy!

It's odd about the double ram air hood, I see images and clips of it and it looks terrible, but then I see others and it looks fantastic. If you go to Cervinis website and click on the double ram air hood, their orange "sample car" has it on it and it looks great. I'm going to go with the stalker hood.

Kinda a noob with hoods, why would one get a heavier fiberglass hood when the aluminum is available for under $1k and is much lighter? The anti corrosive benefits of the fiberglass are attractive yes, but of all 15+ vehicles i've ever owned all the hoods were aluminum and they were just fine.

I've got to do the GT500 front bumper conversion, it just has to happen. The stock front end is just so ugly IMO. I don't understand what the Ford design team was thinking with that weird "oval esque" shape in the grille opening. The GT500 at least just opens the whole thing up. Id like to do something more unique, but there doesn't seem to be any options other than the GT500, GT350 or Mach1 front end. Having said that, I'll have to get the front end on and then decide which hood to go with.

I see it in person all the time, guy at work has it. It's just an ugly hood imo... Enjoy the stalker!

Cervini has a decent hood strut kit and the install if pretty simple.

Another note on the Cervini hoods is they retain the factory washer jets which are not a consideration with most other aftermarket hoods out there.
