Oh no- I have not even purchased it yet. Just doing some research but I am not going to try it now. Thanks to all!Sounds like it's too late for him. I wonder if it has permanently discolored everything the oil touched, and if his motor blows, they'll instantly deny his warranty for adding non-Ford approved additives. Probably the easiest red flag Ford will ever get aside from checking for ignition cycles for tuned cars.
I'm debating as well and I see both sides. My question is simple. Are there any accounts where someone has used Ceratec, had engine trouble, and had Ford deny a warranty claim due to using it? If so, I'll stay away and live with the noise. If not, then this is 100% conjecture. What is fact, via video is that it has gotten rid of many a tick issue. You have a lot of posts here, so I'll respect your time on the board. I assume that with so much time here, that if there is a rash of denied claims due to non-approved oil additives you'd have heard about it. Not trying to be jerky, just looking for a basis of fact.Sounds like it's too late for him. Since the latest oil change, is the oil color still showing that discoloration? Also since oil change did the tick get louder again or is it staying more toward the quieter side? Just curious.I had the random tick and I put ceratec in and the tick did not go away completely but it did quite it down considerably. the oil was slightly dis colored when I changed it. I did not bother putting it back in nor will I in the future

I find this funny because my Ford dealer actively displays and sells oil additives. From the 2019 GT350 Owner's Supplement:
