Trust me I know the limitations of the stock block. I have had my car since October of 2015. I lost a motor pushing it too far on the stock block, stock turbo. I even posted it on this forum.Looking forward to this kit... But any idea how it will play with a non built block? Can't go much past 400tq
I am pushing the car to see how far I can go with this turbo just like any other shop would do. It will easily poduce 400/400 on pump gas and it bolts just as the stock turbo would. Yesterday I spun the tires through second and went sideways in 3rd. Car is extremely fun. I don't want to get in my Subaru after driving it.
I sent the turbo back to Cavalli for them to try a different compressor wheel design. I am not delaying, I am working with them to bring the best solution to market. The Ecoboost has a few different needs turbo wise that we have figured out and it is paying off. I will have it back on Tuesday and get dyno numbers then.
