I actually wrapped the entire underside of the hood with the thermo-tec heat shields that Anderson composites recommended, and just the other day when I was getting my oil changed all $200 worth of it fell down. I’m not sure if I’ll just say F it and not bother reinstalling it or find some incredibly strong adhesive to apply and try to put it back up. We’ll see. But it was definitely really frustrating to have that happen.
Oh man, that sux.

I bought 2 kinds from amazon and they’re very sticky, but easy to trim and cut.
(I made sure I cleaned the underside hood with alcohol and use roller to apply) Its holding up well so far.

Anderson CF decklid panel came in today. :like:
Happy with the quality, just like their hood.

Install was not hard, esp if you watched the YT install video (just be careful and use masking tape on the area above, where the oem clips are)

I did install the matte black alum GT decal. (It was a separate purchase) I could’nt find one in gloss black and I didnt want to remove the original one.
But I think it matches the oem black accent package well.

anyone interested in the carbon cartel air vent bezels? finally received them after 8 months of waiting. In the meantime I had a set of stock ones recovered and installed. Located in Germany but willing to ship at your cost.

I know there's a lot of you out there. Lets hear about your affliction and see what you got!

As for me, Yeah it's a problem. There's a lot more on the list but been focusing on the track and auto-x lately.

Let's start with the interior...

I'm sure I'm forgetting something...
This is a great thread. It seems that the vast majority went for woven carbon fiber instead of forged carbon fiber. Anybody out there do a lot of forged carbon mods?

I’m working on it. Have hood vent, dash trim, and radio trim. I also have a GT500 s-wing in forged on the way. No one makes the arm rest trim for the GT500 in forged yet so I’m probably at a stopping point for now.

Sounds awesome, please share the pics when you're done, would love to see it. Good luck with the installation.

here’s the vent and dash pieces, haven’t installed the radio bezel yet. None of them are stickons.

Absolutely amazing, thanks for sharing! I like both fiber patterns, but the forged is unique, very nice.
