Mine got better over time…I hope it does the same for you. It seems on the other thread, Some had it worst…the gaps were larger or hard to close that it requires “pushing down from the outside“ .

Mine did the same thing when it was new. (about 1/2“ gap) So I push the close button a second time, press and hold it while the other hand pull the latch and lock in place.

Yesterday… Replaced stock battery with Odyssey AGM 96R. (same size as stock, so no fitment issues)

Same…I also roll up the windows in the summer, when AC on. (highway speeds) I guess it helps, and less chance of stuff getting blown out of the car.

This is what I bought as well. (Mine originally came with oem air compressor, instead of the spare). I also bought those amazon puck adaptors for my garage jack.

No issues with fitting on my GT. ( its OEM/Ford) It was a bit of a pain the first few attempts, But when you get used to lining it up with the notch then it becomes easier afterwards.

I opted for the non-brake light version. So, its technically a “styling bar or sport bar”😃 BTW, there’s a cut off switch on the brake light version. The brake light only functions when the Top is down.

You might be right… I’m thinking, due to covid past couple years, or so…parts have been scarce…Ford must’ve dipped into their euro parts bin. lol The US equivalent should be the xxxxxx-200C model.

Last week I covered my bases and ordered online…it says “in stock”. The thing is…online it says “in stock”, but few days later I got email saying we placed a request for the part. Now it says “in process”. So its a waiting game…

Yup! gotcha:like: I‘m waiting on the part I ordered (the one I posted a few pages ago). The dealer I bought the car from is about 2hrs away.…Local dealer can prob do it, but parts are on “National backorder”.
