Hey Everyone,

I was asked to come on here as the rep for The Carbon Core and make the announcement that they will officially be changing the company name to Forgitec. This name change will take effect beginning tomorrow, May 29, 2022.

All of the current links posted online for TheCarbonCore.com will still lead to the same website, however, the name will be changed.

The company decided to make this name change after striking multiple partnerships with carbon fiber manufacturing facilities around the world, for example some being in Japan, Hong Kong, Los Angeles, Germany, and others in order to start producing bigger and better carbon fiber products for lots of different cars like for example the BMW M3 and M4, the Mustangs, and other cars.

This is just a heads up to any existing or any future CarbonCore customers!

You can expect to see tons of new interior and even exterior carbon parts coming over the next few weeks/months.

The new name/link will be Forgitec.com

Thanks, they are both Truefiber. I had trouble with the decklid panel and don't know if it was a one off or not. I am well aware that you need to be very gentle screwing the backup camera on. Well I tought I was extremly gentle but ended up breaking both of the posts off. Had to epoxy them on. Worked out ok and other than that I have had no issues with Trufiber.

PS have not washed the car yet from winter storage so they are pretty dusty, they look better when clean of course.

I hope they fulfill their orders under the previous name. I reciev a tracking number that said,” waiting on shipper” still no product several months later. Order was placed early September last year.

Lol I can confidently say definitely not possible unless the shipping carrier messed up the order and never notified us. If it is FedEx, I wouldn't be surprised as they mess up nearly 50% of orders or steal them.

If you have an order all the way from September, you either would’ve received it by now or definitely would have reached out and received a replacement within a few days.

If not, message me your order number and we’ll take a look.

Yes sir, currently just have the black blank there.

I can just order a flat piece of carbon fiber and cut to size if need be, but just looking for one that is sold for that area before doing that.

Yeah I was disappointed that Trufiber doesn’t include that piece with their radio trim.

UPS employees steal things too. Lost the most things with USPS. They are the worst.

@alpha_s550 could you guys do an overlay for the passenger dash trim piece, just above the glove box with the mustang decal? You have the other prominent pieces I am looking for and I want matching weave.

Yea between bigcartel and Trufiber those are the options I've found. I'm I correct that s550parts and Carbon Cartel are the same owner? Not great reviews in this monster thread but maybe thats all been worked out over the years.

Being a perfectionist, I want the weave on all the parts to match and have some reservations about using different manufacturers.
