This is the one I ordered, it is a layover, but the infotainment area is part of it, unlike a lot of others I have seen. You can see the backside showing it is real carbon fiber. I have high hopes. But, I am prepared for the garbage as well. If anything it will satisfy my need until I can get a full replacement.

This is the one I have and personally I am satisfied with the quaility and fitment, other opinions may vary of course.

I ordered Trufiber Window Switch cover replacements way back on July 2, 2021. Received them April 4, 2022. If I knew I would have to wait this long, I should have just ordered a Whipple.

Just a heads up, for those of you interested, we've been working on full replacement interior pieces for a few months now. Will shortly start opening them for order or even pre-order.

Just arrived in the mail. I found two minor flaws, but I do not believe it will be noticeable once installed. Waiting for some 3M adhesive promoter to arrive before putting on. Carbon core also seems to have my order numbers confused. I ordered a coin try as well, which the delivery says this was. I sent an email to try to rectify this.

Richard

Edit. I put the piece on. Fits well, looks good, minus one minor annoyance. The pattern does not flow with the OEM piece. I did not notice it even until I put it on. Previous photos showed it going in the same direction as the dash piece. I assume that their dash piece was not OEM.

How long is shortly? I definitely plan going all CF slowly as I am able to.

I'm about to pull the trigger on a CF hood.. Anderson..?
Any opinions on fit and quality.?
Any Easter discounts..?

For those that have fitted a CF hood.. I will use Latches, as recommended...
Do you see any Hood flutter at speed..? This is a track focussed car, so often reaching speeds of close to 150mph.

CF interior question. I'm trying to compare overlays versus replacement CF interiors. The overlays from thecarboncore.com look outstanding. Equally, the replacement parts from trufiber.com look fantastic. I also know thecarboncore.com is working on their own replacement pieces.

My question is, which is better assuming budget is not an issue? The overlays look great, are easy to install, and do not require dismantling the center console electronics etc. Overtime, will the overlays stay stuck on tightly and not start rattling, unsticking etc?

The replacement parts look super as well. I suppose there's also a bit of pride knowing that you have true replacements versus overlays. However, part of me also feels like the more you rip apart a new factory car, the more likely you are to have things not go back together as tightly & rattle-free.

What do you guys think? Really like any pros/cons of high quality overlays vs full-replacement components?

Thanks in advance for your help.
