Does anyone have the part number for the Carbon Composite Core Support for a 2019+ GT350?

I’m looking to do hood pins in my 2016 and I would love to use the factory mounting locations.

Is there anything else I’d need to acquire to make this work that you’re aware of?

Thanks in advance!

Not sure what else would be needed. I'm assuming this support will be a simple swap out that replaces the older one.

If I’m not mistaken that core support sits lower. Also the 18+ headlights won’t work. If the core support is shorter you will need 350 fenders, headlights, bumper cover....pretty much everything to convert to a 350 front end. It’s about 7k in parts.

He has a GT350. I believe he's just looking to swap out for the new version that has the integrated hood pin locations. For non-Shelby owners, yes......You will basically need a whole front end from the A-pillars forward.

Awww yeah if he has the 350 it’s a direct replace meant and he’s good 😂

This is correct!

I am simply looking at adding the core support so that way I can do the hood pins.

That being said I’m also looking for the cover that goes over the support shown in this picture someone else too.

If I’m correct the core support does not come with that. Am I mistaken?

Yeah, that's very temping, as these hoods float around a bit. Just hesitant to put holes in the original car. ;) That and the buttons look a little like nipples to me on the front of the car - really pulls your attention to it when you look at it.

Does anyone have the part number of that support? I think mine needs to be completely replaced. I just blasted a deer with my car. It shattered this support and pushed the main grill in. I popped the grill back out into position but it also has damage as pictured. No hood, metal, bumper cover or paint damage. Right turning indicator bulb went out and the bumper is slightly out of wack on one side. I'm impressed how the car punted this baby deer 40 feet down the road and I'm very lucky it wasn't worse or a bigger deer.

No radiator (oil, trans oil, or coolant) damage that I could tell, and I was able to drive the car home as this happened 270 miles away during a trip. Just before this happened, I already got to the hotel but I needed to go on an evening drive on one of the best stretches of roads that couldn't wait till morning. He popped out of the tall grass on the inside of a right corner as I was going through around 45 mph and there was no time to brake enough or maneuver. This happened at dusk on my way back. There was tall grass in this area, but funny to look at google maps street view later as that grass was all cut down and would not have provided the poor deer a temporary hiding spot away from my vision. I was thinking about a deer on the first part of that dive but I should have taken it a bit easy on the way back, but the central coast mountain roads along the ragged coast at sunset, I couldn't resist the voodoo v8's , the auditorial symphony, and the rotation it can apply through the transmission, chassis and differential when you gas it in 3rd or 2nd through the bends and it grips while the suspension is working over smooth and bumpy pavement when you're close to the limit. The car is satisfying on the medium sweepers and its fun out of the tight corners as it wiggles on out of an uphill off camber corner exit on a 6K+ RPM throttle squeeze in le' race mode.

please I would like a part number if anyone knows, as it was not evident on ford oem parts online. hit 22k miles on this trip.

To bad for the deer, but good it wasn’t worse. If you call your local Ford dealers parts department and give them the vin they can look up the proper core support and give you the part number.

Apologies as I did not see the earlier posted part number, the pictures on the ford site didnt line up 100%, but thats probably it. Looks like FR3Z-8A284-E is the newest version for the later cars? I figured it was the same part for all 2015-2020 GT350/R, but apparently they have been revisions. https://www.tascaparts.com/oem-parts/ford-upper-tie-bar-fr3z8a284e

This part basically took all of the energy in my collision. and I had just spent some moola on a new front deflector (FR3Z-17626-F) and front splitter (FR3Z-17D957-AE) to have as fresh backups in storage since mine are pretty beat up from earlier driving :)

And I believe I need this to fix the front grille since my shroud is also damaged.

edit: Confirmed and ordered from my local ford dealer
