I even commented on your post ;) hahah. Tuning information is in my signature. You might of seen our world record stock block HP record (501whp/465wtq) post on the previous page, along with our world record stock turbo HP record (x2 AT (352whp/420wtq) and MT (364whp/398wtq).

Well to my knowledge this is their first go at a Mustang because it's a turbo application but they have amazing tunes, and tons of parts for the EB. Check out some of the threads the have of here, they even have a turbo upgrade!

But yes they are a tuning company per se.
Right on, thanks man

Wow very impressive, obviously I need to look into your services. I know this car has an amazing potential which is actually why I chose it over the GT, it was new, it was different and I had a feeling it would break boundaries as well

Ok guys so the verdict from the dealer was that, because I had less than 500 miles on the car, the occasional redline shift was "over boosting" the car and it went into limp mode to save the engine from damage....

Does that sound right to anyone? Am I an idiot for the occasional 1-2 shift ....?

Well that's what I thought too, I called livernois just to get there opinion and they told me that they don't feel that the cars don't neccissarily need a break in period anymore ... Also they mentioned that obviously there is a factory rev limiter so to over boost wouldn't be common due to the factory limitations put in place

Is there any possibility that you could have throttled the car while in 3rd or 4th at a low rpm, let's say 1200 to 1500?

I don't think so, I drove the car pretty normal up to the entrance ramp, had to stop for oncoming traffic and then did a quick 1-2 shift and immidiatly after is when I noticed no boost... It's not impossible but I definitely felt it after the high rev shift

Hey guys. So I noticed today that my EB Mustang (AT with PP) is only making about 11psi of boost. I checked charge pipes and went through lines and everything seems fine. Mods are MAP catless downpipe, MAP Intake and tune (Cobb, tuned by Adam at MAP). Under any circumstance, the car does not exceed 11psi boost. Does anyone have any idea what could be the cause? I've tried reloading tune and no luck. I appreciate any help! I'm a bit worried.

May have a boost leak. Does it hold 11psi under WOT or gradually decrease? Do you hear any unusual hissing or whooshing sounds while accelerating?

Thanks for the reply. It holds 11psi during WOT, it doesn't decrease. No unusual sounds that I can tell, everything sounds fine. I figured it might be a boost leak so I checked all charge pipes. Anything else specifically that I should check?

Spray soapy water around your turbo, intercooler, and bypass valve. If you have a leak in any of these places it will be made apparent pretty fast.

You can also build yourself a boost leak checker pretty cheap (a gauge, some silicone tubing, rtv, worm gear clamps, an air pressure connector, and a small air compressor). Plenty of videos on Youtube that show you how to build one and I highly recommend anyone that modifies a turbo car own one.

I still have the one for my Subarus; that thing was invaluable.

If you're tuned, you really should contact the tuner if/when you have issues.

As for the OP, I wouldn't worry. I missed a shift trying to go from 5th to 3rd and bounced off the rev limiter hard. Car went into limp mode for the rest of the drive home. Upon the next start up the car was fine. An ACURA TL typeS did think he was faster than me as a result of that though haha

Thanks man, yea same reaction happened with me, I haven't had a turbo car in a while let alone even a new one, so I wanted to make sure I took care of it. Been driving it a few days so far and everything seems normal.

Hey guys, so I have about 800 miles on the car now and I was leaving work again, happened to pull a quick 1-2 again and the car went into limp mode....

What's the mile expectancy for this to stop? I'm getting a little nervous that this may be an issue
