My car is turning off when the car is coming to a stop and downshifting. Once it reaches 3rd, the car turns off, im not sure why? It has never done this before. Car has 46k miles with only Exhaust.

When the car downshifts you hear it downshift and see the rpms go up a bit with every downshift. Well whats happening is the car doesnt do that, the rpms just keep going down and stalls. On the dash i see " Shift to Park to Start Vehicle ". No codes no check engine light etc..

The car has been having a rough idle, where the car during operations at a red light. Rpms drop from 700 to 400 car shakes and rps come back up. vacuum goes from 19.8/ to 17/18/16 then goes back up. Never has actually stalled but this seems like a separate issue or could not be.

Take it to the dealer, especially if this hasn't gone away on its own.

Have them run diagnostic on it and discuss the issue. This looks like something you can't just fix in the garage DIY and can become a safety issue while driving. Haven't seen another post for this issue, maybe someone else will know whats going on. best of luck

Pretty sure power train is 5 year/60K miles down your way.
Yes, it is 5/60. Most people don’t realize that or that the Powertrain Warranty covers quite a bit.

I think the powertrain warranty is 5 years 60k miles! The 3 year 36k is bumper to bumper!

What I meant by that was I’m not sure if my throttle body or vct solenoids or intake or spark plugs are covered by the power train warranty. As these can all be part of the issue….. I’m assuming

All those things are engine components and the engine is part of the power train sooo, yeah, covered.
The only thing you list that might not be covered are the spark plugs as they could be considered a wear item. But they're easy enough to swap yourself.
