Everytime I downshift from third gear in the upper RPM'S, it makes a faint screeching/squeeling sound. I'm just wondering if it's my clutch or whatnot. Thank you for any help in advance!

Mine has squealed rather loudly a couple of times I've upshifted at high RPM's and have done it too gradually/not gotten off the clutch fast enough I think. But then now with this car I'm just getting used to driving in high RPM's for the first time.

Why are you downshifting if you are already in the upper rpm's?

It's around 3-4k, I use "high rpms" loosely. It's normal for sporty driving.

Ok. I consider upper rpm's in this car to be 6K+. When I'm tracking or driving spiritedly, 4K is typically high enough to not need a downshift. Downshifting for a turn is usually after I've slowed down quite a bit with just a blip of the throttle to match rpm's. Don't slip the clutch, just let it out and go. I've never heard any sound like what you are describing.
